Background in Applied Mathematics – Novosibirsk State Technical University, Management from The Open University (London).

Has passed the exam to qualify as a Chairman of the Board of the financial organization per the requirements of the National Bank, holds an “Applied Technical Analysis” certificate, “Fundamental analysis” certificate, certificate of a member of the Association of Independent Directors of Kazakhstan.

From 2002 to 2013 held the office of the Managing Partner with Caspian Group JSC, which is a diversified Kazakhstan holding company (engaged in construction, development, production of construction materials and tools, auto- and agriculture machinery, education, investment/finance). Managed Finance/investment and strategic planning committee while on the Board of Directors.

In 2006, he established an investment company Seven Rivers Capital JSC (Kazakhstan), acquired brokerage and asset management licenses under the Caspian Group JSC holding structure. Has been the CEO and Chairman of BoD since the establishment.

In 2007, he procured that 50% of Seven Rivers Capital JSC was financed by the largest South Korean finance and industrial group named Hanwha (Finance/Development/Investment). 2007 – 2010 – he drew $110 M into the funds managed by Seven Rivers Capital JSC from South Korea for further investment into the economy of Kazakhstan. Core activities of the company and the funds assumed real estate transactions and banking.

2013 – initiated a sales deed to sell 100% of the Seven Rivers Capital JSC shares to an international investment company named Freedom Finance (CEO/majority shareholder is Timur Ruslanovich Turlov). Held the office of Director with the Freedom Holding Corp (USA), a BOD company, which acquired Freedom Finance JSC (Kazakhstan) (former Seven Rivers Capital JSC).

The company develops and implements optimal schemes to manage assets and capital, introduces modern tax solutions through investment consulting for private and institutionalized investors.
